Celebrate National Employee Benefits Day on
Wednesday, April 2, 2008.
The holiday is a time for those responsible for employee benefit plans to acknowledge their dedication to providing quality benefits and the important role they play in their colleagues' well-being.
This year National Employee Benefits Day has a special focus on health care literacy.
Health care literacy is the ability to read, understand, and act on medical information. The Foundation is encouraging those who are involved in employee benefits to use the day as an opportunity to make themselves and their plan participants more educated health care consumers.
