In an effort to encourage ongoing education, the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans is awarding the scholarship to attend the conference, which features over 130 sessions covering employee benefit issues including health care, pension and investments. A special track is designed to address unique public sector issues.
The scholarship covers air fare, hotel accommodations and conference registration. The winning scholar will gain an insight to the inner workings of public sector benefits. He or she will also have unique opportunities to network with those established in the field.
This scholarship is made possible through funding from the former New York State Public Sector Coalition on Health Benefits (NYSPSCHB). New York State public university system students and recent graduates who are currently employed in or seeking employment in the public sector in New York State are encouraged to apply. Applicants’ area of study must be public administration, health benefits, health benefits administration or related program.
Applications must be received by September 13, 2006.
