One exam credit may be applied toward CEBS, the GBA (Group Benefits Associate), RPA (Retirement Plans Associate) and CMS (Compensation Management Specialist) designations. Exam credit also is awarded to those who hold the CCP (Certified Compensation Professional), CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) and CFP (Certified Financial Planner) designations as well as to those who have completed specific course work from the American College in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania.
CEBS is an eight-course professional certification program covering all areas of employee benefits, including retirement, health and welfare, financial planning, human resources and compensation. CEBS is cosponsored by the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans and the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
