Brookfield, Wisconsin--Dana Bilyeu, Public Employees Board member of the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans and Executive Officer of the Nevada Public Employees' Retirement System (PERS) has been confirmed by the U.S. Senate to a seat on the Social Security Advisory Board (SSAB).
The SSAB is an independent, bipartisan board created by Congress and appointed by the President and the Congress to advise the President, the Congress, and the Commissioner of Social Security on matters related to the Social Security and Supplemental Security Income programs.
“We are thrilled for Dana,” said Michel Wilson, CEO of the International Foundation. “Her volunteer work has helped shape educational initiatives for the International Foundation’s public employee members. We believe she will provide a unique and valuable perspective to the SSAB.”
Bilyeu has 17 years of pension management experience. She received her Bachelor's Degree from the University of Arizona and her law degree from California Western Law School.
