Brookfield, Wis.—The International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans is pleased to announce its Executive Committee for 2008.
William A. Martin will serve as President and Chair of the International Foundation Board. Mr. Martin is a trustee for the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) Local 654 Welfare and Pensions Funds, Media, Pennsylvania.
Eric O. Stanchfield will serve as President-Elect. Mr. Stanchfield is Executive Director for the District of Columbia Retirement Board (DCRB), Washington, D.C.
Simone L. Rockstroh will serve as Treasurer. Ms. Rockstroh is President of Carday Associates Inc., Columbia, Maryland.
John J. (Jack) Simmons has been elected Secretary. Mr. Simmons is Assistant Business Manager for Empire State Regional Council of Carpenters, Oswego, New York.
David N. Harvey has been elected Canadian Sector Representative. Mr. Harvey is President and CEO of Benefit Plan Administrators, Ltd., Mississauga, Ontario.
Mauro Canori has been elected Corporate Sector Representative. Mr. Canori is Director of HR for Merck & Co., Hillsborough, New Jersey.
Danny Donohue has been elected Public Employee Sector Representative. Mr. Donohue is President of Civil Service Employees Association Inc. (CSEA), Albany, New York.
Two past presidents also serve on the Executive Committee.
Joseph J. Burke, CEBS, Immediate Past President, is an Administrator for Iron Workers’ Mid-America Pension and Supplemental Monthly Annuity (SMA) Funds and also serves as president for The Heartland Employee Benefits Corporation, Lansing, Illinois.
Joseph A. Brislin, Past President, is a Management Trustee for CIC-TOC and TOC-IAM Woodworkers Pension and Health and Welfare Funds, Tigard, Oregon.
The Executive Committee holds authority over all programs and business affairs for the International Foundation. The Committee administers finances, monitors the progress of projects and serves as the main conduit in channeling proposals and recommendations for Board consideration.
