Brookfield, Wis.—The International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans is pleased to announce that Joel A. Boone, Vice President of Labor Relations for The Stop & Shop Supermarket Co. in Quincy, Massachusetts has been elected to the Foundation’s Executive Committee.
Boone will hold the position of President-Elect.
Boone has volunteered with the International Foundation for seven years and served on the Board of Directors in 2005, 2006 and 2007. Boone has moderated at each Annual Employee Benefits Conference since 2002. He has served on the Foundation’s Trustees Committee, Health Care Management and Coalition Committee, and Financial Review Committee. He currently serves on the Educational Program Committee and Strategic Initiative Steering Committee.
“Joel brings a tremendous amount of experience to the Foundation’s leadership team,” said International Foundation CEO Michael Wilson. “We believe his contributions will help the Foundation continue to strive to meet and anticipate our member needs.”
The Executive Committee holds authority over all programs and business affairs for the International Foundation. The Committee administers finances, monitors the progress of projects and serves as the main conduit in channeling proposals and recommendations for Board consideration.
