Mechanical Specifications

• Please furnish: PDF/X-1a:2001 created using Acrobat Distiller. QuarkXPress file (Mac version 6.x or 5.x), including all fonts and highresolution (300 dpi or higher, CMYK or grayscale) images. Files may be mailed on CD-ROM, or e-mailed as self-extracting files or PDF to stacyv@ifebp.org.
• Files can be uploaded to an FTP site; please contact Stacy Van Alstyne at stacyv@ifebp.org for more information.
• 150-line screen
• Enclose proof specifying publication date, and name and phone number of contact person.
• Provide a color proof (color progressive, match print, chromalin or contract quality laser proof) for four-color insertions.
• Four-color insertions must be provided electronically. Film separations will not be accepted for four-color ads.
• Production charges for any unsatisfactory material, including any electronic rework or conversion processes, will be billed to the advertiser at cost.
• Electronic files consisting of spot color or RGB color space will be converted to CMYK color space.
