It’s time to take the next step! The Proficiency Standards, adopted by member companies of the CLHIA require that employees who represent the insurer in the sale and service of retirement contracts earn the Retirement Plans Associate (RPA) designation which is offered through the CEBS program. Whether you specialize in retirement plans or consider yourself a generalist, earning the Retirement Plans Associate is a great way to validate your knowledge. The RPA credential behind your name distinguishes you as a professional who knows the retirement industry and is committed to your career. And when you earn the RPA, you’ll become an important resource within your organization and earn a nationally recognized credential that is portable across all sectors of benefits. The three courses in the RPA track are part of the CEBS curriculum and may be applied toward earning the CEBS designation. In addition, insurance professionals in Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Ontario and Quebec can use CEBS courses to fulfill continuing education requirements.
