Please make certain that you are using the correct edition of the study materials when preparing for a CEBS examination. Please note the following corrections to the Handbook of Employee Benefits, 6th edition:
Page 27, second full paragraph, the last sentence should read “Also the Uniformed Services Employment and Reemployment Rights Act of 1993 requires employers to offer up to 24 months of health coverage to employees who are on military leave and to their dependants.”
Page 174, chart line 17(a) should read “Decrease value of non-network benefits (70% preferred).”
Page 174, chart line 19 should read “Expected average PPO participation (25% out-of-network usage).”
Page 363, the second sentence of the second paragraph should read: “Voluntary coverages are defined as those insurance products offered by the employer and fully paid for by employees.”
