RPA 3—Government-Sponsored Benefit Programs
CMS 1—Compensation Concepts and Principles*
CMS 3—Strategic Human Resource Management and Total Compensation
* Previous Title: Foundations of Compensation

Two ELECTIVES

(Any two of the following CEBS courses)
CMS 2—Executive Compensation
RPA 2—Asset Management
GBA 3—Health Care Economics and Issues
Course 10—Personal Financial Planning: Concepts and Principles (Not available after November 2007)

*The eight-course curriculum model for earning the CEBS designation gives students flexibility in earning the designation(s) that meets their career objectives.  Students must complete six required courses and any two electives.  Special note for CMS 1 (Course 5): Students who completed Course 5—Contemporary Legal Environment of Employee Benefits (passed Course 5 exam prior to January of 1996), cannot use this course under the eight-course model for earning the CEBS designation or toward earning the CMS designation.  Students must take the new CMS 1—Compensation Concepts and Principles or have completed Course 5—Foundations of Compensation.
