Monica Lewis, CEBS, CBP, CCP , principal of Touchstone Consulting Group, Inc., a private and independent firm specializing in employee benefits and executive compensation. Ms. Lewis works primarily on healthcare and survivor benefits programs for corporate, Taft-Hartley, and not-for-profit organizations. Ms. Lewis is a graduate of Boston College and earned her M.B.A. from Boston University. She has taught CEBS courses at colleges and employer sites in the Boston-Providence-Worcester area, and she has served as instructor for the GBA 1 online course since 2001. Ms. Lewis is a past president of the Greater Boston Chapter of ISCEBS.
GBA 2 – Group Benefits Management
Mark Dunlop, CEBS, FLMI, CLU ChFC, CFP , Mr. Dunlop is nationally known in the benefits field and has spent most of his career working with installation, funding, communication and administration of employee benefit and investment plans. Mr. Dunlop received his master's degrees from the American College in Pennsylvania and his Bachelor of Business Administration degree from The College of Insurance in New York. Mr. Dunlop served as past president of the St. Louis Chapter of ISCEBS, chaired various educational and publication committees including those of the IFEBP. He has also been a Certified Employee Benefit Specialist (CEBS) instructor since 1983 and has instructed GBA 2 online since 2002.
GBA 3 – Health Care: Financing, Quality and Reform
Elizabeth McBurney, SPHR, CEBS, CMS is the Assistant Human Resources Manager, Benefit Manager for Columbia County Board of Commissioners in Evans, GA. She has 25 plus years of broad range, professional experience in human resources and employee benefits in both the public and private sector. Ms. McBurney holds a Bachelor’s degree in Finance from Augusta State University and an M.B.A. from Brenau University. She is an active member of Phi Kappa Phi and Sigma Beta Delta. She also holds an Advanced Certification in Human Resource Management from the University of Georgia, Carl Vinson Institute, and is an instructor for the Carl Vinson Institute teaching human resource courses at Georgia Local Government Association conferences.

Mary Komornicka, J.D., CEBS, ChFC , Attorney, Larkin Hoffman law firm in Minneapolis, earning her degree from Hamline University School of Law in 2008. Former Senior Vice President of the Minnesota Trust Service Office of M&I Trust Company, where she managed the Personal Trust, Employee Benefit Trust, Investment, IRA and Trust Operations Departments for the Minnesota office. Ms. Komornicka has been an adjunct instructor in the CEBS program at the University of Minnesota and has been instructing RPA 1 and 2 online since 2001. She was President of the Governing Council of ISCEBS in 2003 and past president of the Twin Cities local chapter of ISCEBS in 1998.
RPA 3 – Asset Management
Jeremy Green, CEBS, CFP, CTFA, MSFS, CLU , Director of Trusts, Estates & Insurance at Carlson Capital Management, a comprehensive wealth management firm in Minnesota. Mr. Green has a B.A. in Journalism from the University of Minnesota and a Master of Science in Financial Services from the American College. He’s also completed the American Institute of Banking Personal Trust Diploma and Level 1 of the National Graduate Trust School through the Institute of Certified Bankers. He has more than 10 years of professional experience in financial services. Mr. Green served in the United States Army, stationed in the Republic of Korea from 1996 to 1998.
CMS 1 - Human Resources and Compensation Management
Michael Murphy, CEBS, CCP, SPHR , Director of Compensation and Benefits with Shoe Carnival, Inc. He is responsible for the Compensation and Benefit Programs including the design and management of the integrated Total Rewards Programs. Mr. Murphy previously managed multiple Benefit Plans for a Fortune 50 organization. Mr. Murphy is a graduate of Indiana State University where he also served as a Teaching Assistant during graduate studies. He is a Fellow of the ISCEBS and is now serving on the ISCEBS Professional Development Committee. While serving as their President in 2003, the EHRA was awarded the Indiana State Chapter of the Year by the Indiana State Council of the Society of Human Resource Management and the Superior Merit Award from SHRM. Mr. Murphy has been instructing CMS 1 online since 2002.
CMS 2 Compensation Concepts and Principles
Chris Healy, MA, PHR, CEBS, Manager of Human Resources and Safety for Wells Enterprises, Inc. (maker of Blue Bunny ice cream products). Her educational background includes a BS in Business; MA in Human Resources and many certifications to include the Professional in Human Resources (PHR); Group Benefits Associate (GBA); Compensation Management Specialist (CMS); Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS); Birkman Method; Lominger Competencies; Achieve Global; Industrial and Office Ergonomics and is also HazMat certified. Ms. Healy has taught the HRCI Essentials of HR and the PHR/SHPR prep courses for the Dixie Applied Tech. College and began instructing CMS 2 online in the fall of 2011.
CMS 3 – Executive Compensation and Compensation Issues
Larry Morgan, SPHR, GPHR, MAIR , Mr. Morgan is the owner of Orion HR Group, LLC, an independent consulting organization specializing in the alignment of compensation and benefits programs with business strategies. He earned his BA from Augsburg College and M.A. in Industrial Relations from the University of Minnesota. He has 25 years of HR experience with a broad range of industries. Mr. Morgan is also an adjunct faculty member of the University of Minnesota, where he teaches PHR, SPHR and GPHR certification courses, compensation strategy, Job Analysis, HR Technology and employee retirement programs. He serves on the Board of the Minnesota Human Resource Executive Forum. Mr. Morgan is an accomplished public speaker and presents monthly webinars on topical HR issues, and instructs for the Minnesota Society of CPAs. He has also been featured in a cover article in ACA News, and quoted in HR Magazine, Employee Benefits Planner Magazine, and Business Week.
