  • Preparing for your next exam?  Make sure you have all the required Readings Updates.

  • The 2008-2009 CEBS Academic Calendar is now available. In addition to course descriptions, online study schedules, order forms and other CEBS information, the calendar also details the changes in course titles, study materials and designation requirements.  You can read it online, or request a free copy to be mailed to you.

  • Course Revisions        

    • RPA 3 (CEBS Course 1) Revision
      Government-Sponsored Benefit Programs will be revised in Fall 2008.  The revised Learning Guide will be available from Britnell Books in late August 2008.

    • CMS 3 (CEBS Course 8) Revision
      Strategic Human Resource Management and Total Compensation Issues is scheduled for revision in Spring 2009.  The current study materials are valid for the December 2008 exam.

    • RPA 1 (CEBS Course 4) Revision
      Pension Plans and Other Retirement Income Programs is scheduled for revision in Fall 2009.  The current study materials are valid through the June 2009 exam

    • CMS 2 (CEBS Course 6)  Revision
      The revision for Executive Compensation and Compensation Issues has been scheduled for Fall 2009.  The current study materials are valid through the June 2009 exam.

    • GBA 3 (CEBS Course 9) - Revised Course Materials.
      Health Care Economics and Issues was revised in Fall 2007.

    • CMS 1 (CEBS Course 5) Revision
      Compensation Concepts and Principles has been revised for Spring 2008. 

    • Course 10 Personal Financial Planning: Concepts and Principles phased out of CEBS program.  Course 10—Personal Financial Planning: Concepts and Principles has been phased out of the CEBS curriculum.  The Course 10 exam was offered for the final time in November 2007.

  • Group Life and Health Primer Course Available  
    In cooperation with the group insurance industry, the CEBS program has developed a new Group Life and Health Online Primer course.  This 25-hour online course was developed as a practical, time-efficient and cost-effective tool for introducing individuals without prior or only minimal knowledge and experience to the basics of the group life and health business.  Individuals may continue on and earn the Group Benefits Associate (GBA) designation that is part of the Proficiency Standards established by the Canadian Life and Health Insurance Association.  Click here for more information.
  •  CHRP Now Accepted for CEBS Exam Transfer Credit
    As of July 1, 2006, CEBS will now accept exam transfer credit from those individuals who hold the CHRP designation.  Click here for more information.
  • Members of CGA Canada now qualify for the ISCEBS/IFEBP member rate on examinations. Simply write "CGA Member" on your exam application and use the discounted exam fee.
  • CE credit in AB or MB
    If you are licensed in Alberta or Manitoba, complete the Continuing Education Credit section of the CEBS Order Form to request the International Foundation to automatically confirm credit for the exams applied for on that application. A $25 service fee per course is charged when credit is requested.
