Certificates

Choose the certificate track that is right for you!

The ATMS® program is designed to meet the needs of experienced, committed trustees who want to take their knowledge to a higher level. Through structured, integrated courses, you will learn critical facts, identify best practices and gain insights for effectively monitoring and self-regulating your pension, and health and welfare funds.

The ATMS® program presents an educational path that has been carefully developed to continually challenge you as you grow in knowledge and experience. The courses are constantly updated to keep you current and new courses are regularly developed to build an ongoing source of education.

Earning Your Certificate

The ATMS® program offers four distinct certificate tracks. The certificates—suitable for framing—document your learning achievements and demonstrate that you have achieved a deeper understanding of the key issues necessary for effective fund management.

Additional Information

  • ATMS Part I applies to the Certificate in Pension Fund Management as well as the Certificate in Group Benefits Management. If you are planning to complete both of these certificates, you do not need to take the ATMS Part I course twice.
  • While it is permissible to take either of the ATMS Part II courses before ATMS Part I, it is important to note that ATMS Part I is designed to lay the foundation for ATMS course work. In order to maximize your learning experience, it is highly recommended that ATMS Part I be taken before ATMS Part II.
  • ATMS Part IV applies to the Certificate in Pension Fund Leadership as well as the Certificate in Group Benefits Leadership. If you are planning to complete both of these certificates, you do not need to take the ATMS Part IV course twice.
  • ATMS Part IV can be taken before ATMS Part III.
  • Due to the intense nature of the ATMS courses, individuals are not permitted to register for two ATMS courses back to back. Please register for only one course per trip (waived for public sector trustees).
