The CAPPP™ program provides a comprehensive grounding in either health or pension plans. Each of eight subjects are taught in four-hour modules, incorporating group exercises, lecture and student interaction. Class size is limited. Attend two, twoday parts (in either pensions or health) in full and pass a takehomeexamination for each part to earn a certificate.
Flexible enrollment options are available for CAPPP™. Part II can be taken before Part I. At least once a year, Part I and Part II are offered consecutively during the week. Time and expense can be leveraged when CAPPP™ is taken on a Saturday or Sunday preceding either the Benefits Conference for Public Employees or the International Foundation’s Annual Conference.
The CAPPP™ program provides conceptual as well as practical instruction. Faculty is drawn from practitioners in the public sector, allowing rich and current examples of real-life situations. The limited class size is appropriate for fostering a personal touch with instructors.
*Note: Part II can be taken before Part I.
