Doesn't International Foundation provide computerized attendance cards?
Yes. The computerized attendance cards, used at many programs, document the number of sessions attended and determine if an individual is eligible for a Certificate of Attendance. To earn this certificate, the individual must attend at least 75% of the scheduled sessions and turn in attendance cards at the conclusion of each session.
Won't the Certificate of Attendance meet my continuing education requirements?
No. Records for these attendance certificates are maintained for only one year (the International Foundation would not be able to respond if an individual's report is audited by a continuing education board). Also, these certificates do not indicate which sessions were attended, record the total number of hours or communicate information for reporting credit.
Can I earn both the Certificate of Attendance and the Continuing Education Certificate?
Yes. Deposit both the computerized attendance cards and the continuing education forms as you attend the program.
The Certificate of Attendance can be earned only at those programs where attendance cards are available.
