Thursday, August 05 - Thursday, August 05, 2010
New Jersey Carpenters Funds Building, Edison, NJ

In partnership with the following coalitions—
Health Care Payers Coalition of New Jersey
Midwest Employee Benefit Funds Coalition, Inc.

The details of the health care reform legislation are unfolding incrementally as the government churns out regulations and guidance to help plans comply with the changes. These one-day regional seminars will provide a quick and cost-effective way for getting the latest up-to-date answers on the most expansive legislation since Social Security! Find out what you need to act on now and what you will need to address next.

Included is an afternoon workshop addressing the early retiree subsidy application process. With limited government funds available for the subsidy, there is an increased urgency to understand what is necessary to complete the application provided for in the law, as well as the process the government will use to determine how the funds are to be distributed. Two additional workshop options are also offered in the afternoon, including Multiemployer Perspectives and Public/Governmental Plan Perspectives.
