Request continuing education (CE) service on the conference registration form. A $25 service charge is due at the time of your request. Make sure to indicate your profession(s) and state(s) you are licensed in.
Onsite Information and Hotline
CE information is available on site. Personal assistance is available via the courtesy phone at the CE table (located in the registration area). The International Foundation's CE administrator will be available to answer your questions.
You may also contact the Continuing Education Department following the conference at (262)786-6710, option 2, or email continuinged@ifebp.org .
Attendance
Attending professionals must be aware of CE requirements and procedures; i.e., for insurance credit, state preapproval requirements must be met. Lists of sessions applicable for credit will be available on-site at the continuing education table, as well as on the Foundation web site and mobile app (coming soon).
Continuing education attendance forms must be submitted at the conclusion of each session. Personalized yellow CE attendance forms will be included in your registration packet on-site if you request continuing education credit in advance. You may also request CE onsite in the Registration area and obtain blank forms. The $25 service fee must be paid at the time of your request.
Make sure to fill out all CE attendance forms completely! Failure to complete forms properly may prohibit administration of your continuing education.
Insurance Producers
The International Foundation seeks approval of the Annual Conference from state insurance departments based on requests made on the program registration forms. Approval is not automatically sought in all states. See the chart below for state approvals from the 2011 Annual Conference.
Most states require receipt of an approval request at least 60 days in advance of the program. It is important that insurance producers who need continuing education credit register early to ensure program approval will be sought in your state! Please direct any questions you may have to Lisa Walbrandt at (262)373-7642 or lisaw@ifebp.org.
Click here for a list of pre-approved insurance sessions from the 2011 conference. 2012 preapproved sessions will be posted as the information becomes available.
If your state is not listed in the insurance approval chart below, no request for credit was made for 2011. Please contact the Continuing Education department with any questions.
