In the ongoing effort to encourage employee benefit education, the International Foundation awards a scholarship to attend the Annual Employee Benefits Conference. The scholarship will be awarded to an individual that meets the following criteria:
- Student or recent graduate of the New York State public university system, who is a
- Current graduate student studying public administration, health benefits, health benefits administration or related degree program
OR
- Recent graduate earning a bachelor’s or graduate degree, with a study emphasis in public administration, health benefits, health benefits administration or related program.
- Employed or seeking employment in the public sector.
The scholarship includes:
- Conference registration to the Annual Employee Benefits Conference
- Domestic coach airfare, departing from a major airport closest to your residence
- Four nights deluxe hotel accommodations. (Hotel is determined by the International Foundation).
- Recognition and networking opportunities at the Public Sector Reception, held at the Annual Conference.
- Recognition at a keynote session
- Access to all Annual Conference sessions, excluding pre-conference sessions.
Application and Selection Process
Applications will be evaluated by a panel of public sector representatives who are members of the International Foundation, as well as administrative staff members of the International Foundation.
