Registration

Q. How do I register?

A. For all webcasts, registration will be taken by KRM Informational Services, not the International Foundation. There are three ways to register:

  1. By Phone: (800) 775-7654
  2. By Fax: (800) 676-0734
  3. Online: You will find the URL on the specific webcast's home page.

Q. What forms of payment are accepted?

A. You may register onilne or by phone using a credit card (most major credit cards are accepted). For more information, please call 800.775.7654.

Q. Can I invite other colleagues or staff members to listen and view the presentation?

A. One registration site allows you to invite as many people as will comfortably fit in one room. You can set up in a conference room, use an LCD projector to project the Internet presentation on a screen and use a speakerphone for the audio. This will allow a larger group to participate. You will not be able to connect multiple times using the same connection instructions.

Q. Why do we charge for webcasts?
A. At the International Foundation, we take great care in delivering objective, unbiased, timely information.  We’ve made the strategic decision to not have the webcast events sponsored, so you can be assured that the program you’re seeing isn’t a sales pitch. The webcasts’ production is seamless for you, with easy registration, technical support and the ability to pose live questions during the presentations.  This requires a rather impressive technical infrastructure on the back end, which translates to fixed costs for each site that participates.  The registration fees offset these costs and guarantee a content-filled, objective educational experience.

Q. What does the registration site fee include?

A. The registration fee includes one telephone and Internet access to the webcast, a copy of the presentation handouts (which you may photocopy for other participants at your site) and an interactive Q/A session during the webcast. You may submit your questions during the live broadcast via the web or telephone.

Q. When will I receive the log-on instructions and handouts?

A. Complete web and phone access instructions are always provided in advance of the program with presentation handouts. THese will be sent to the registrant of record via e-mail. (Please note that KRM Informational Services, not the International Foundation, will send this information.) If you have not received this information by the webcast date, please call 800.775.7654.

Q. What is the cancellation policy?

A. Read our Webcast policies.

Q. What is a webcast?

A. A webcast is a real-time distance learning tool that combines a conference call with interactive online visuals. All you need is a telephone and a computer with an Internet connection. You can "attend" a webcast without ever having to leave your office.

Q. How does it work?

A.  A toll-free call will access the audio portion of the webcast and you can access the online visual portion right at your desktop. Complete access instructions will be provided a few days prior to the webcast. These access instructions will be emailed from KRM Informational Services (not the International Foundation).

Q. My company has a firewall, can I still participate?

A.  Different companies have varied security systems in place. You should consult your IT department for questions specific to your operating system.

Q. Can I test my computer before I get my instructions?

A.  To test your computer, go to http://www.krm.com/livemeeting/test/ . Click on the "Test Your Computer Now" button and follow the on-screen instructions.
