Here are frequently asked questions about the International Foundation webcasts. If you don't find the answers you're looking for, please call Barb Swarthout at (262) 373.7668.
A webcast is a real-time distance learning tool that combines a conference call with interactive online visuals. All you need is a telephone and a computer with an Internet connection. You can "attend" a seminar without ever leaving your office!
A toll-free call will access the audio portion of the seminar and you can access the online visual portion right at your desktop. Complete access instructions will be provided a few days prior to the seminar. These access instructions will be emailed from KRM Information Services (not the International Foundation.)
For the audio portion you can simply use a common telephone (a speakerphone will enable multiple participants to listen). Web conferencing requires at least a 28.8 Internet connection and a recent version of a Java-enabled browser which means Netscape V4.06 to 4.7x, or Internet Explorer V4.01 or later. Updated versions are available for free at the Netscape and Microsoft Web sites. On a PC, you will need Windows 95 or NT, and 16MB of RAM (32+ is better).
Important: You will need to install WebEx Event Manager on your PC (or the PC you plan to use for the webcast) prior to the webcast's start time. Installation instructions will be included with your program materials and logon instructions, or you can view them here. If you have any questions or concerns about WebEx Event Manager, please call Customer Service at (800) 775-7654.
Different companies have varied security systems in place. You should consult your I.T. department for questions specific to your operating system.
To test your computer, go to http://www.krm.com/webextest. Click Setup. Once you receive the successfully completed message, please close your browser.
Important: Please conduct this step on the PC you plan to use for attending the webcast, prior to the actual webcast start time.

YES! One registration site allows you to invite as many people as will comfortably fit in your office. Or, you can set up in a conference room, use an LCD projector to project the Internet presentation on a screen and use a speakerphone for the audio. This will allow a larger group to participate.
The registration fee includes telephone and Internet access to the seminar, a copy of the seminar handouts (which you may photocopy for other participants at your site) and an interactive Q&A session during the seminar. You may submit your questions during the live broadcast via the web or telephone.
Complete web and phone access instructions are always provided in advance of the program along with program handouts. These will be sent to the registrant of record via e-mail or a paper copy can be shipped. (Please note that KRM Information Services, not the International Foundation, will send this information.) You may submit your questions during the live broadcast via the Web or telephone. If you have not received this information by the seminar date, please call 800.775.7654.
