Ms. Carlson is a consulting actuary in Watson Wyatt’s retirement practice. She works with clients on FAS, IAS and ERISA valuations, mergers and acquisitions, nondiscrimination testing and a variety of other pension consulting issues. Ms. Carlson holds a B.S. degree in applied mathematics from Carnegie–Mellon University and a master’s degree in statistics and operations research from New York University’s Stern School of Business. She is a fellow in the Society of Actuaries and an enrolled actuary under ERISA.
