His primary responsibilities include delivering health and benefits consulting services and serving as an account manager for medium and larger size clients. Mr. Smith’s other recent assignments include retiree health plan design/redesigns, merger and acquisition integrations and managed care projects. Prior to joining Aon, he worked in the actuarial department of a major health insurer. Mr. Smith has over 20 years of experience helping clients design, administer, fund and communicate health and benefits programs. He has a B.S. degree in mathematics from Appalachian State University and a master of business administration degree from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
