Retiree Health Care and Long-Term Care Insurance

The Affordable Care Act (ACA) includes several provisions that affect employer-sponsored health care coverage for retirees. There is a new initiative providing grants to plan sponsors that offer coverage to early retirees, new tax rules for the retiree drug subsidy and a voluntary insurance program for long-term care benefits.
