Informational 2011 Form 5500 Annual Report Released
The U.S. Department of Labor's Employee Benefits Security Administration (EBSA), the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) and Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation (PBGC) released advance informational copies of the 2011 Form 5500 annual return/report and related instructions. Each year, pension and welfare benefit plans are required to file an annual report regarding plan financial conditions, investments and operations.
Plan year 2011 Form 5500 and Form 5500-SF modifications are provided under "changes to note."
The advance copies of the 2011 Form 5500 are for informational purposes only and cannot be used to file a 2011 Form 5500 annual return/report.
