The Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) released its final rule on recordkeeping and reporting requirements under Title VII, the ADA, and GINA. The rule extends existing recordkeeping requirements under Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and the Americans with Disabilities Act to entities covered by Title II of the Genetic Information Nondiscrimination Act of 2008, which prohibits employment discrimination based on genetic information.
The rule is effective April 3, 2012.
