GASB to Discuss Governmental Pension Accounting and Financial Reporting at January 24 Open Board Meeting
The Governmental Accounting Standards Board (GASB) is holding a meeting on Tuesday, January 24. One of the discussion items listed on the tenative agenda is the Pension Accounting and Financial Reporting intiative. Based on feedback received on the Exposure Draft, the Board will discuss the issues associated with fundamental measurement and recognition approaches and issues associated with benefit projections, discounting and allocation.
