OSFI Canada Updates LIF Maximum Payment Amounts for 2012

The Office of the Superintendent of Financial Institutions (OSFI) Canada updated and posted the 2012 table for the life income fund (LIF) maximum payment amounts. This table is used to determine the maximum amount of money that can be withdrawn from a Life Income Fund. It provides users with values representing fractions of the fund, which may be drawn during the year by former plan members whose pension benefit credits have been transferred to a LIF.
