Zenith Administrators is a large, national third party benefits administrator committed to consistently meeting or exceeding our client expectations. We provide a full range of benefit administrative services for multi-employer, single employer and public employee benefit plans. We are currently seeking an experienced Assistant Manager for our Pension department to work in our Chicago, Illinois branch. We are currently located in downtown Chicago but will be moving to Mokena in April 2008.
You will be responsible for leading the staff, developing and implementing unit procedures and ensuring timely completion of pension applications and inquires. In addition you will provide input into departmental budget and oversee expenses to insure efficient operation within budget guidelines Role includes interactions with participants, unions, government agencies, attorneys and consultants. The ideal candidate will have an Associate’s Degree, at least 2-3 years experience in defined benefit pension plan administration, and prior experience as a supervisor. Must have a thorough knowledge of regulatory requirements and demonstrated strong communication, organization and analytical skills.
