Job Description:

Chartis International has an opportunity for a Pension Administration Manager within its Finance division.

As a Pension Administration Manager, your responsibilities will be:

To oversee and manage all functions pertaining to the administration of the pension process, including support for the Managing Director of Pension Administration with a matrix to the Vice President of Total Rewards and indirectly to the Pension Benefit and Arbitration Committee for plan administration changes.

The ongoing development and monitoring of both service and control processes to ensure consistent administration and management of pension benefits.

Additionally, in consultation with Managing Director of Pension Administration, Benefit and Arbitration Committee and Legal Counsel, will review all plan Provisions and documents for compliance with: all international and U.S. (ERISA) governmental regulations, Board of Trustees' policy decisions and outside technical direction.

Frequently interface with Pension accounting regarding investment and financial disclosure issues.


Position Requirements

Bachelor’s degree

Minimum five to 10 years of pension administration experience, preferably at least five years experience in a supervisor/managerial capacity in pension administration.

Knowledge and experience of international and U.S. (ERISA) rules and regulations as they relate to pension plan administration are required.

Experience analyzing and interpreting Plan documents also required.

Management ability including providing leadership to and motivating employees, delegation of responsibilities to employees at appropriate levels, choosing the right people for work assignments, and developing group cooperation and teamwork.

Demonstrated communication skills (oral and written) and good judgment/decision-making skills also required.

Due to the nature of this position's responsibilities, the individual filling this position is specifically required to abide by policies and procedures established by Chartis International. This includes, but is not limited to, adhering to strict deadlines.
