Mid-Level Position

Mid-size, self-administered Funds seek Comptroller, reporting to Fund Administrator. Overall responsibility for the operations of the accounting of three pension plans, defined contribution plan and three health plans. Monitor accounts receivable, accounts payable, bank account reconciliation and all other accounting duties and financial planning.

Assure compliance with local, state and federal agencies including, but not limited to payroll taxes, 1099, W-2, 941, 5500 and 1095.

Responsible for working closely with accounting firm for annual audits, compliance filings and oversee employer payroll/remittance audits. Assist in collection and settlement process, when necessary.

Work closely with staff and plan professionals including investment advisors, actuaries, attorneys, bankers and accounting firms.

Assist Fund Administrator in managing the Fund Office, staff, building, and preparation for and attending Board of Trustee meetings.

Special projects as needed to improve effectiveness of administrative process. The ideal candidate will be provided every opportunity for professional growth and development.

▪ Bachelor’s Degree
▪ Working towards or having obtained CEBS a plus
▪ 5+ years of experience
▪ Familiar with ERISA, HIPAA, ACA, PPA and other employee regulations
▪ Project management skills – Familiar with ISSI and I-Remit a plus
▪ Financial background
▪ Detail oriented, highly organized analytical skills
▪ Team player a must
