Are you interested in becoming more active in the International Foundation? Industry volunteers are the cornerstone of the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans. Their input provides value and support to the many services enjoyed by International Foundation members. We have outlined several ways for you to increase your personal involvement in the International Foundation:

  • Serving as a session moderator, panelist, roundtable discussion leader or speaker at an educational program. The International Foundation strives to include a mix of seasoned and new presenters, featuring a variety of professionals, service providers and employee benefit plan sponsors, to achieve balance and diversity.

If you are interested in being a presenter at an educational program, review the current list of educational programs; then contact our educational programs department at edprog@ifebp.org
  • Authoring an article. If writing is more your style, the International Foundation welcomes article submissions for the Benefits Magazine. The editors of this publication welcome queries or outlines of proposed articles and will respond promptly. Questions may be directed to editor@ifebp.org.
  • Serving as a Committee or a Board member. If you would like to take an active part in the development of products and services or charting courses of action for the International Foundation, consider becoming involved at the Committee or Board level. Although any member of the International Foundation can be nominated, most Committee and Board members have participated in other International Foundation activities such as those mentioned previously. For information on nominating yourself or a colleague, contact our executive department at committeeinvolvement@ifebp.org.

The ongoing success and quality of the International Foundation's products and services are due in large part to the collective efforts of its volunteers-those with a commitment to education and a willingness to donate extra time to support the advancement of a challenging industry. We encourage you to join that special group of leaders.
