Employers say 2016 will be the costliest year yet for ACA compliance, according to results from the International Foundation’s latest survey. The impending Cadillac tax followed by administrative costs and costs associated with reporting, disclosure and notification are expected to be the top future cost drivers.
The annual survey, now in its sixth year, examines how single employer plans are being affected by the Affordable Care Act. The comprehensive report examines plan design and funding, reactions to health insurance exchanges, cost-management initiatives and the potential impact on health care benefit costs.
