Continuing Education for Lawyers - New Brunswick

Mandatory Continuing Professional Development came into effect on January 1, 2010. All members with practising status must complete twelve (12) hours of mandatory continuing professional development annually (January 1 - December 31). These hours can be earned through a variety of educational activities, including teaching, writing, group study and in-house educational sessions. For the first year of operation (2010), there will be no sanction for non-compliance.
