Workplace Wellness Trends 2015 Survey Results

International Foundation members enjoy access to timely and important data, like this recently released Workplace Wellness Trends 2015 Survey Results. Canadian and U.S. members were surveyed, revealing that nontraditional wellness initiatives are quickly taking the stage as top wellness benefits. According to the survey, Canadian organizations were more likely to focus on investing in worker health and engagement and U.S. organizations were more likely to offer wellness initiatives for the purpose of controlling health-related costs.

Top Findings

  1. How many organizations encourage on-site events and celebrations to promote wellness?
    It’s a party! Half of organizations offer on-site events and celebrations to promote wellness.
  2. What’s the most popular wellness benefit offered at workplaces?
    Ouch! It’s the flu shot – 71 percent of organizations offer it every year.
  3. Who is finding success with their workplace wellness program?
    84% of organizations said that their wellness incentives were somewhat or very successful.
