	Retirement and Financial Planning Programs Employers are offering an array of financial and retirement planning programs to help employees make wise financial decisions. Canadian and U.S. members of the Foundation and the International Society of Certified Employee Benefits Specialists were surveyed to learn more about the programs being offered. This survey report summarizes the 340 responses concerning the availability and types of programs offered. Information is also reported on eligibility requirements, topics covered, program providers, delivery methods, and who covers the costs. This publication also includes 19 samples including enrollment guides, workshop materials, program outlines, and sample financial calculations. The book is available in print, e-book and CD-ROM. 	Health Care Benefits: Eligibility, Coverage and Exclusions A Survey & Sample Series title, with 22 samples. This International Foundation survey contains 400 responses from U.S. corporate benefit managers, professional service providers, public employers and multiemployer plans about health care benefit plans. The book offers difficult-to-find details about health care coverage of employees, traditional and nontraditional dependents, services, complementary and alternative medicine (CAM), diagnostic tests, therapies, conditions and treatments. 	Investment Management Services Consult this report if you are considering the use of an investment management service for your pension fund. The International Foundation asked its members in the U.S. and Canada to provide information on their use of management services, the frequency of meetings and performance evaluations, and the basis for service provider fees. With this in mind, the International Foundation surveyed its members to learn more about newsletter provision, preparation, and distribution. Data was collected from 350 organizations on who prepares the publications, how they were given to recipients, and topical content. The International Foundation has brought together public employer responses and resources from various surveys to create this single reference. Tables and graphs provide details on the average number of vacation days, educational assistance plan course work covered, education reimbursement limits, the types and perceived advantages of wellness programs, severance benefits offered, and the basis on which severance pay is determined. More than 200 U.S. corporate benefit managers, professional service providers and public employers responded to an International Foundation survey about family and medical leave. It also compares data from 2000 to gauge trends in education assistance plans. 	Wellness Programs A Survey & Sample Series title, with 93 samples. This survey reveals the most prevalent initiative offered by employers is wellness education at 80%, followed by health screenings, subsidized flu shots and health risk assessments. It also provides responses to a variety of questions on wellness programs including the prevalence of plans, types offered, administration methods, incentives used, participation levels and benefits attained. 	Collection of Employer Contributions A Survey & Sample Series title, with 13 samples. Over 150 multiemployer trust funds in the United States and Canada answered questions on the content of their collection policies and procedures, their methods of alleviating and resolving delinquencies, and the way they pay their legal counsel for collections work. They also indicated how partial payments are allocated between funds and what monies are collected in addition to delinquent contributions. This survey found that 75% of the respondents offer vacation benefits in separate plans. 432 corporate and public employers in the United States and Canada responded to questions on vacation benefits, including use of paid time off banks, carryover options, buy/sell policies and case-by-case variations.
