Large NYC Public Sector Health & Welfare Benefit Plan is seeking a Fund Administrator.
Oversight and administration for 5 Trust Funds and Plan professionals, including conducting quarterly meetings for each Fund.
Supervision of operations for 10 units/departments which employ close to 400 employees.
Financial review of funds vs. benefit payments/expenses.
Responsible for personnel issues in a unionized setting.
A minimum of ten years of experience in administering health insurance benefits from fully-insured to self-funded.
Knowledge of hospital, medical, mental health/substance abuse and prescription drug coverage is extremely critical.
An underwriting/actuarial background is highly preferred.
Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Access is required.
Must possess excellent communication skills with Trustees, vendors and participants & be comfortable making presentations before large groups.
Salary commensurate with experience and knowledge.
