We are currently seeking a Director to be responsible for the development, analysis and administration of UNM Hospitals’ Compensation and Benefit Programs. This includes overseeing the recommendation and implementation of approved competitive pay structures, benefit plans, strategies, and practices. You will administer the compensation and benefits policies and procedures and ensure compliance with applicable regulations, oversee a multi-million dollar self-insured health program, and manage complex request for proposals. You must be able to understand defined contribution pension plans and investment strategies, and evaluate compensation and benefits programs and recommend modifications to top management in order to maintain the organization's objectives and competitive position in the marketplace. In addition, you must ensure compliance with applicable regulations.

Qualified candidate must have 5 years or directly related and management experience, and possess a Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline. A Master’s degree in Human Resources is preferred. Certified Compensation Professionals (CCP) and Professional in Human Resources (PHR) or Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) Certification is also preferred.
