Job Description

The International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans has an immediate opening for an Associate Program Director.  This position is at our Brookfield, Wisconsin office and is responsible for the development and delivery of educational programs, courses, services and products for our U. S. and Canadian members.   

 

The person in this position will develop, design, evaluate and implement existing educational programs and courses while maintaining a positive relationship with volunteer speakers and attendees.  Candidate will articulate and develop program content, determine the use of various teaching methods and techniques for audiences, and assess feedback from attendees regarding content and the effectiveness of the speakers.

      

Minimum of a Bachelor's degree is required and some form of related on-the-job experience is required.  A strong knowledge of employee benefits or human resource management is desirable, especially related to Taft-Hartley multiemployer pension and benefit funds. A Certified Employee Benefit Specialist (CEBS) designation is desirable.    

 

This individual will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills (both written and oral), and a successful track record of working in a fast-paced environment. The individual will also possess the ability to use independent judgment and demonstrated capability in managing priorities. The individual will also possess the ability to work with diverse constituencies in a team environment. The individual will be expected to achieve a CEBS designation within a reasonable period of time. 

 

The individual must be able to travel within the U.S. and Canada (approximately 25%-35%, may be higher during the first year of training). Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
