This role focuses on the administration of Leave of Absence programs including FMLA, LTD and STD as well as the ownership of related vendor relationships. Other responsibilities include the following:
Develops, implements and coordinates corporate wide human resources policies, programs and processes in functional specialty and monitors effectiveness to further business objectives and legal requirements.
Continues study of functional specialty to keep abreast of current practice and informed of new developments, to identify improvements or changes needed and to alert management to need for action.
Educates managers and partners within human resources community on policies and programs and provide guidance to their administration.
Recommends cost control measures and long-range strategies that will maintain competitiveness and facilitate achievement of corporate objectives.
Provides tools to address HR issues and initiatives within area of expertise.
Gathers and compiles data, performs analysis and makes recommendations.
Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience:
At least 3 years of related HR knowledge and experience. (Note: A Master's degree will count as one year of experience. A partial year of six months or more will be rounded up to one year).
Related experience with the administration of Leave of Absence programs including FMLA, LTD and STD.
Knowledge of company organizational structure.
Knowledge of company policies, programs and information systems (SAP) and relevant government regulations.
Strong written and verbal communication, interpersonal and persuasion skills.
Analytical and problem solving skills.
Program and project management skills.
Proficient personal computer skills and in depth knowledge of Microsoft applications.
Bachelor degree or an equivalent combination of education and demonstrated related experience may be accepted in lieu of preferred level of education.

Licenses, Certifications, or Quals Description:
Preferred: Professional in Human Resources (PHR), Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR)
