In the spirit of protecting the health and safety of our educational program attendees, speakers and supporting staff Advanced Trustees and Administrators including the virtual option is being canceled. 

Similar sessions can be found at the US Annual Conference, October 17-20, 2021. The next Advanced Trustees and Administrators will be held in February of 2022 in Orlando.


The Advanced Trustees and Administrators Institute is designed to keep experienced trustees informed of the latest industry trends, legal and regulatory changes, and best practices as well as bring new ideas to light. Attendees gain a deeper understanding of how to run their pension and health and welfare funds.

Don't miss this time-honored educational event. Developed by active trustees, administrators and professional advisors, each session is designed to address the issues you face today and prepare you for what lies ahead. In these challenging times, you can count on the International Foundation to deliver timely, relevant and balanced education on the trends, issues and future direction of the industry.

Who Should Attend

This Institute is designed for experienced multiemployer trustees, those who have attended the New Trustees Institute and those who have served as a trustee for more than two years, as well as salaried and contract administrators of all experience levels.

This event is also available virtually so those learning remotely can share in the educational experience. The virtual format includes all key content, and you can still qualify for a Certificate of Attendance (assuming you attend the minimum number of sessions required).

Here's How It Works

You choose your format: in-person or virtual. You have the flexibility to change your format should your plans change—Just give us a week's notice so we can best prepare for your participation. With an in-person format, you'll receive access to the recorded sessions after the program concludes. To qualify for a Certificate of Attendance (if applicable), you must complete all the required sessions in your chosen format. For example, if you choose the in-person option, you must complete all the required sessions in person.
