New Trustees Institute — Level I: Core Concepts

Designed for trustees who have served for less than two years, or who have not previously attended an International Foundation educational program.

  • Overview of the role and responsibilities of trustees
  • Exploration of the key areas of legal and legislative compliance, trust fund accounting, health care and pension funds, investment and fund assets, and plan administration

Advanced Trustees and Administrators Institute

Designed for experienced trustees, those who have attended the New Trustees Institute and those who have served as a trustee for more than two years as well as salaried and contract administrators of all experience levels.

  • Update on the latest issues shaping employee benefit plan design and administration
  • Assessing your current plan structure, management policies and administrative practices to determine if a modified approach is in order
  • Developing sound benefit strategies for an evolving workforce

Trustees Institute—Level II: Concepts in Practice

Two-day program for those who have completed New Trustees Institute—Level I: Core Concepts.

  • Hear ideas and solutions that others have implemented

Educational sessions at this program may qualify for CEBS Compliance credit. Visit www.ceb.org/compliance for more information.


Continuing Education credit for additional professions and designations MAY be available for attendance at live sessions. You must register for the program and request CE credit at least 60 days prior to the beginning of the program so that the Foundation can seek preapproval from the governing agency.
