Mr. Egelberg is director and consulting actuary in the Secaucus, New Jersey office of Buck Consultants. His efforts include the coordination and development of Buck’s consulting to U.S. multiemployer funds. Mr. Egelberg has over 30 years of benefits consulting experience assisting clients with design, funding, compliance, administration and communication issues. He has been focusing his practice on multiemployer pension plans and has experience working with funds of all sizes in a wide variety of industries including manufacturing, building and construction, entertainment, retail and transportation. Mr. Egelberg has championed mentoring and training programs for actuarial students and has been a speaker at the International Foundation’s regional seminars and Annual Conference as well as for several bar associations’ continuing education programs. He has authored several published materials on the Pension Protection Act of 2006 and is a contributing editor for the Journal of Pension Benefits. Mr. Egelberg is an associate of the Society of Actuaries, a fellow of the Conference of Consulting Actuaries, a member of the American Academy of Actuaries and an enrolled actuary. He is a graduate of Queens College of the City University of New York, holding a B.A. degree in music and physics.
