Mr. Jones is chief executive officer of Innovative Compensation and Benefits Concepts Consulting, LLC. He is a former senior vice president and US compensation practice leader for a major global human resource consulting firm. Mr. Jones has over 34 years’ experience in the fields of executive compensation, benefits administration and design, qualified plan review, tax practices and consulting. He specializes in the design, development and implementation of executive compensation plans, employee benefit plans, executive benefits, deferred compensation programs and assisting employers in aligning an executive group’s total compensation package with strategic business goals. Mr. Jones serves on the editorial board of Benefits Quarterly and has served on the editorial board for the Journal of Deferred Compensation: Nonqualified Plans and Executive Compensation, and has written several articles for both publications. He is a member of AICPA and the American Bar Association, ISCEBS Greater Philadelphia Chapter and the Philadelphia Chapter of the American Society of Pension Actuaries (ASPA). Mr. Jones received a B.A. degree cum laude from Dartmouth College and a law degree from Case Western Reserve University School of Law where he served on its Law Review. He is a certified public accountant and a member of the Pennsylvania Institute of CPAs. He is also a certified sales compensation professional with World at Work, the former American Compensation Association.
