Mr. Ridley is a partner in the Los Angeles law firm of Farmer & Ridley, LLP. A Loyola University School of Law graduate, he is a member of the California and Los Angeles Bar Associations. Mr. Ridley has lectured at numerous tax institutes and California Continuing Education of the Bar programs. He is a fellow of the American College of Tax Counsel, a charter fellow of the American College of Employee Benefits Counsel and a member of the Small Business Council of America. Mr. Ridley is active in a number of employee benefit-oriented organizations. He has served as an Advisory Director of the International Foundation and on a number of Foundation committees.
Mr. Ridley teaches day two of Retirement Plan Basics in the Certificate Series which covers the legal environment. He believes that people remember things best when they have had a good time, and he incorporates fun and thought-provoking learning opportunities throughout his teaching. “If it isn’t fun, it’s not worth the trouble.”
