Foundations of Trust Management Standards (FTMS) increases knowledge and understanding for effectively managing trusts: Legal, Administration, Governance and Funding/Investment/Finance will be covered. New trustees, in particular, must quickly gain an understanding of the basic principles of trust fund management and know where to find answers. FTMS is the first step in focusing on these needs.

FTMS is the first International Foundation program in Canada to offer trustees an opportunity to validate their learning. While the test is optional for FTMS, it is required if you intend to enroll in the Advanced Trust Management Standards (ATMS) program. The test is included in the cost of your FTMS course registration. The test will be an online, open-book test with 40 questions. It will be available within a specified window of time after course completion. Watch for details.
