The COVID-19 pandemic has upended our day-to-day lives and has reshaped the structure of the health plans for the future. The evolving personal and professional needs of plan members prompted health plans to expand telehealth and mental health services, as well as implement other changes designed to address the unique challenges of this year. Now that we can see light at the end of this tunnel, it is time to thoughtfully ask ourselves—Where do we go from here? During this conference, we will seek to understand the long term impacts of this past year. What will happen with the echo pandemic of mental illness, and how should we handle the long-term costs of delayed care? We will discuss the important lessons learned and opportunities for improvement.
