Ms. Havlin is a partner and the global leader for research and intellectual capital for Mercer’s health and benefits business in Chicago, Illinois. She manages Mercer’s survey research group which conducts the industry’s largest and most statistically valid survey on U.S. employer-sponsored health programs. This group also conducts surveys of global clients on issues such as employee choice, health management, governance and pandemic preparedness. Ms. Havlin works with the leadership group to determine priorities for market visibility and sales campaigns, and is currently co-leading the firm’s health reform work group. Prior to joining Mercer, she was a partner with another global human resources consulting firm where she managed a regional practice and implemented a health and benefits consulting group within that firm’s outsourcing group. Ms. Havlin also worked for the Blue Cross and Blue Shield Association, Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Massachusetts and the Harvard Community Health Plan. She has a bachelor’s degree from Colgate University, an M.B.A. degree from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management and attended Harvard University’s Executive Program in Health Policy.
