Ms. Komornicka has recently joined Larkin Hoffman as their ERISA attorney, having graduated from Hamline University School of Law in 2008. Prior to going to law school, she was senior vice president of Marshall & Ilsley Trust Company in Minneapolis, Minnesota, leading the personal trust, employee benefit trust and investment departments for the Minnesota office. Ms. Komornicka's prior experience includes 14 years with American Express Financial Advisors in a variety of positions that developed retirement and executive compensation services and products for small business; employee benefit trust work with Norwest Bank; and benefits manager at two separate companies in the Minneapolis-St. Paul area. She has been an adjunct professor at Hamline University School of Law and in the CEBS program at the University of Minnesota and also teaches CEBS RPA courses 1 and 2 online. Ms. Komornicka was president of the Governing Council of ISCEBS in 2003 and president of the ISCEBS Twin Cities Chapter in 1988. She has served on the CEBS Committee of the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans. Ms. Komornicka graduated from the University of Chicago with an A.B. degree in political science and from the University of Virginia with an M.A. degree in constitutional law. In addition to the CEBS designation, she also holds the chartered financial consultant designation.
