Mr. McHugh is a partner at Porter Wright Morris & Arthur LLP. He is a specialist in all areas of employee benefits law, including health and welfare benefit plans, qualified and non-qualified retirement plans. Mr. McHugh’s extensive experience includes working with the design and administration of employer-based health and welfare programs, including working with employers and providers in the continuing implementation of the federal health care reform legislation. He is a frequent lecturer before industry and professional groups on various employee benefit matters and has spoken before governmental agencies on employee benefit matters. Mr. McHugh is a member of the District of Columbia Bar Association, the American Bar Association, the Southern Employee Benefits Conference, the American Benefits Council and Plan Sponsor Council of America. He is listed in the Best Lawyers in America in the area of employee benefits law. Mr. McHugh is a graduate of Georgetown University, Washington, D.C.
