This webcast will explore interviews with apprenticeship stakeholders conducted by the Canadian Apprenticeship Forum, along with its partners in the United Kingdom, Germany, Bulgaria and Poland, about their barriers to mentoring, training and engaging youth in apprenticeship programs. This will also look at how these European countries conducted pilot programs and were successful in encouraging small to medium-sized businesses to hire apprentices by providing a combination of in-person, hands-on and financial support.
